Competitions
Residents of Pope and adjacent Counties are invited to participate. The Premium book is linked above or available at several local businesses. Entries can be mailed to P.O. Box 171, Glenwood MN or emailed.
Entries may be limited due to space. Classes are available for Sheep, Goats, Poultry, and Rabbits. Lots are listed in link above. Please send entries to: P.O. Box 171, Glenwood MN or email before July 16th, 2012.
Open to kids through second grade. The picture is available in the premium list or the link above. Crayons or colored pencils only, no markers!

Open to any person who is a member of a Pope County FFA chapter or a chapter whose territory lies within Pope County. Must be a separate entry, cannot exhibit same animal or project in 4-H or Open Class. The FFA Premium book has been updated to more closely resemble the state fair lots. 4-H Only members in good standing of Pope County 4-H clubs may exhibit in this division. For rules and more information, see the Pope County Extension Office.

The Pope County Free Fair is sponsored by the Pope County Agricultural Society. Membership is open to anyone for $10.00 share. The board of directors are elected by the ag society shareholders. Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. year round. During the fall and into the early spring all meetings are conducted at the Lowry American Legion and in the summer months at the Fair Office located on the fairgrounds.
