The Pope County Free Fair is sponsored by the Pope County Agricultural Society, a 501c3 non-profit community volunteer organization. We are one of the few fairs in Minnesota that offer a FREE gate and FREE parking. The Pope County fair is a long standing community tradition in our area. We offer competitions, entertainment, family friendly fun and great fair food. Come out and see us at the fair!

"As fair board volunteers, we choose to give hours of our own time each year, because we have a passion for the tradition of agriculture and the county fair. When we get a chance, we try to take in other fairs, always on the search for good ideas. You will see some of those ideas mirrored in our own fair.

We invite you out to join us, to try something new, and to make memories with us. County fairs everywhere are a special type of event. They bring us back to childhood adventure and let us experience things like cotton candy, merry-go-rounds, and petting a friendly goat. We also invite you to share your comments and suggestions, Our fair is your fair!"

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member contact a current board member. We also have the option of being a friend of the fair where you would support fair operations without the commitment of being on the board.
