DIVISION F
FARM CROPS, VEGETABLES and FRUITS
1. All crops must be produced in this crop year.
2. A sample of grain, grass, etc. will be 1 quart clear jar.
3. Samples shown in cured sheaves at full length are not to be less than 2 inches in diameter at the middle band.
4. THE FAIR BOARD HAS THE OPTION TO DISQUALIFY ITEMS WE FEEL WERE NOT MADE BY THE EXHIBITOR.
5. Division FY includes ages 18 years of age and under.
*NEW If youth were assisted by an adult, please provide a photo of youth working on the project. All rules, classes and lots are the same as Division F.
6. Division F -This includes ages 19 and older.

DIVISION G
FOODS MADE FROM SCRATCH
1. Division GY includes ages 18 and under. *NEW If youth were assisted by an adult, please provide a photo of youth working on the project. All rules, classes and lots are the same as Division G.
2. Division G - includes ages 19 and older.
3. ALL FOOD PRESERVATION EXHIBITS MUST FOLLOW RECOMMENDED UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA EXTENSION PROCESSING METHODS. LOW-ACID PRODUCTS (VEGETABLES) MUST BE PROCESSED IN A PRESSURE CANNER. Pickles, Preserves, Jams and Jellies must be
processed in boiling water sealed with lid, NO PARAFFIN.
Tomatoes can be processed either by the pressure canner or
boiling water bath. Pick up latest University of Minnesota
publications at the Extension offices. Must be made from scratch. Youth can use mixes.
4. Articles in jars must be in jar appropriate for its lot.
CHECK TO BE SURE.
5. Exhibitors are restricted to one entry (jar) in each lot.
Label jars as to process used, length of process and date canned.

DIVISION H
NEEDLE CRAFT
1. Articles must be clean.
2. All articles must be the handiwork of the exhibitor.
3. Any article exhibited at this fair in previous years will be
automatically rejected in the judging.
4. No item should be put in the miscellaneous lot if there is a lot for it already.
5. The fair board has the option to disqualify items we feel were not made by the exhibitor.
6. All articles in this department must be new or completed within the year.
7. Only finished or mounted work will be accepted.
Pictures must have a means of hanging them.
8. Division HY - 18 years and younger. *NEW If youth were assisted by an adult, please provide a photo of youth working on the project. All rules, classes and lots are the same as Division H.
9. Division H - 19 yrs of age & older.

General appearance (beauty, style, color, design)...........50%

11. Articles eligible for Minnesota County sweepstakes are
a. Quilt
b. Rug
Only quilts and rugs that won a Sweepstakes prize at the
exhibitors most recently held county fair are eligible for entry. Quilts must be hand or machine quilted by exhibitor. Judges will select county entries eligible to be entered into Minnesota county Sweepstakes contest.
